Rhino: Agencies – Israeli shelling killed four people in southern Syria on Tuesday, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) said, after the Israeli military said its troops clashed with militants who opened fire on them there.

The violence along the border area signals increased friction between Israel and Syria, where a new Islamist-led administration was installed after the opposition ousted former President Bashar al-Assad from power in December.
