Rhino: Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar said on Thursday that Israel has notified the United Nations Human Rights Council that it will follow the lead of the United States and withdraw from the council.

“We reached the decision in light of the ongoing and persistent institutionalized bias against Israel in the Human Rights Council that has persisted since its inception in 2006,” Saar wrote in a letter to Council President Jörg Lauber posted on Xinhua.
