Rhino: Agencies – Aston Villa continued its strong reinforcement of the team’s ranks, by concluding a special deal, before the closing of the winter transfer window for the 2024-2025 season.

The English club announced, in an official statement today, Monday, the signing of Spanish winger Marco Asensio, a former Real Madrid player. The Villans explained that Asensio has joined the team, on loan from Paris Saint-Germain.

The deal comes after Aston Villa succeeded in signing English striker Marcus Rashford on loan from Manchester United. The 29-year-old joined PSG in the summer of 2023, after his contract with Real Madrid expired, but he failed to establish himself in the Parisian team under coach Luis Enrique, which facilitated his departure towards Villa Park.
