Sudanese Army arrests former national team player on charges of cooperating with the RSF

Khartoum: Rhino – A force that identified itself as belonging to the Security Service, led by a colonel, arrested on Sunday morning, Al-Hilal player and former national team captain “Zahir Markaz” from his home in the village of “Abu branches”, near the city of Hassahisa in the state of Al-Jazbarah.

Zahir Markaz has remained in his village since the start of the war, and with a group of locals, he supervised the “takaya” in the village after the RSF entered the state of Gezira.
The Sudanese army forces and the Baraa bin Malik militia of the Islamic Movement had previously targeted civilians working as volunteers in mass kitchens in the suburb of Shambat in Khartoum Bahri, in what was known as the massacre of takaya servers, where dozens of them were executed in the streets and squares.
