Rhino: Eyewitnesses from the city of Umm Ruwaba told Rhino on Friday that the Sudanese army slaughtered the director of education in the locality, Al-Tayeb Obaidallah, after its forces entered the city.
One of the witnesses revealed that a number of civilians in Umm Ruwaba – who had participated in a protest against the army’s bombing of residential neighborhoods – are currently being targeted after their names were included in the “death lists” prepared by the “Al-Baraa bin Malik” battalion, which is affiliated with the Islamic Movement.
