Rhino: Agencies – Dozens of civilians were killed yesterday, Wednesday, in continuous raids launched by the army’s aircraft on the homes of citizens in the Al-Mazad neighborhood in Khartoum Bahri with missiles, causing the bodies to be charred and burning houses completely, and an entire family died as a result of the attack, according to eyewitnesses from the area in press statements.
A resident of the neighborhood was quoted by the online newspaper Al Change on Thursday as saying that entire squares in Bahri were burned, and “you cannot sort the body of the child from the old man or the woman from the man.”
In an audio recording, the resident confirmed “the death of all the residents of the area that lies between Al-Jalabi Center and the last station at the borders of Al-Safia neighborhood,” noting that some were missing and the dead could not be identified due to the charred bodies. She added that the dead include children and the elderly, and that the whole situation is catastrophic, and the residents of the neighborhood are unable to deal with it.
The majority of the city’s residents are still in their neighborhoods and are now at risk of dying as a result of heavy fighting, as happened in the Al-Mazad neighborhood, according to statements made by Khartoum Bahri Emergency Rooms.
