Rhino: Agencies – The US State Department said on Friday that it has imposed visa restrictions on a number of people responsible for the ongoing conflict in South Sudan.
“We note the continued failure of South Sudan’s leaders to use state resources for the benefit of the people, their failure to eliminate government corruption and elite control of the country’s resources, their failure to protect the people of South Sudan from human rights abuses and violations, including civil and political rights, and their failure to keep the peace,” the department said.
