El Geneina: Saleh Hiririn – The Ministry of Health in the civil administration of West Darfur state on Saturday conditioned the absorption of medical and health cadres in private medical facilities on reviewing academic certificates and obtaining permanent registration.

The Ministry of Health said in an administrative decision seen by “Rhino” that it prevented the absorption of medical and health cadres in private institutions only after reviewing certificates and ensuring that they obtain permanent registration to practice the profession.

It pointed out that the decision aims to improve the performance of medical and health services and preserve the safety and lives of citizens.

In addition, sources told Rhino that there is widespread anger from some citizens towards medical errors, which have claimed the lives of a number of patients in some hospitals.

The sources stated that the security services conducted extensive investigations with some medical staff to uncover the circumstances of their deaths.
