Rhino: Agencies – Real Madrid star Jude Billingham apologized to Real Madrid fans after falling to Liverpool 2-0, last Wednesday, at Anfield, in the fifth round of the Champions’ League group stage.

Billingham wrote on his Instagram account: “Always one step forward and two steps back at the moment, we suffered a disappointing level and result despite the quality of the opponent.

He added: “I must thank and apologize to all the madridistas who followed us in England, there is no point in thinking about what we can no longer change, we have to work together and push each other in the next important matches, always hello Madrid.”

The defending champions are in a difficult situation in the Champions League, having lost 3 out of 5 matches, as they are 24th in the table, and are at risk of not qualifying for the next round with 3 rounds to go before the end of the league stage.
