Khartoum: Rhino – The coordination of Sinja Resistance Committees announced on Wednesday that the city and its neighboring villages are experiencing the worst massacres and physical killings based on ethnic and regional grounds, after the army forces backed by jihadist brigades and Tigrayan mercenaries invaded the city.
The coordination added in a statement on Wednesday: “We in the Sinja Resistance Committees announce to the local, regional and international public opinion that entire families, including women and children, have been liquidated and exterminated by the army under false pretexts related to cooperation with the Rapid Support Forces, and multiple cases of rape, including underage girls, have been documented in flagrant violations of all human values and international conventions.
She continued: “What is happening in Sinja is not a coincidence or random events, but part of an organized and systematic campaign that aims to exterminate certain societal components and impose demographic change by force, in continuation of a criminal path adopted by dark forces that do not care about human life or the unity of Sudan.”
The coordination considered what is happening in Sinja as “war crimes” and full-fledged crimes against humanity, calling on the Sudanese people in all cities and villages to rise up and stand united to stop these horrific violations. It called on international and regional organizations to assume their moral and humanitarian responsibilities and intervene immediately to stop the massacres and punish the perpetrators, warning that the continued regional and international silence will make everyone partners in these crimes that threaten the survival of Sudanese society and push the country towards a comprehensive civil war known as the “war of all against all.”
