Rhino: Agencies – British Foreign Secretary David Lammy said on Monday that Britain would follow due process if Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the country.
“We are a signatory to the Rome Statute, and we always abide by our obligations under international law and international humanitarian law,” the minister told reporters at a G7 meeting in Rome, when asked whether London would enforce the International Criminal Court’s arrest warrant for the Israeli prime minister.
“Of course, if such a visit to the UK were to occur, there would be a judicial process and due process related to these issues would be followed.”
