Rhino: The Israeli army announced on Sunday that an officer and a soldier from the 90th Nahshon Battalion of the Kfir Brigade were killed in a battle in the northern Gaza Strip on Saturday.

The army said the two were Captain Yogev Bazi, 22, from Givat Bar, a platoon commander, and Staff Sargent Noam Eitan, 21, from Hadera.

Another soldier was seriously wounded in the same battle, the army said.

The Kfir Brigade is one of the largest infantry brigades in the Israeli army and includes several battalions and elite units described as specialized in urban warfare and complex areas.
