Deschamps: We know what awaits us tomorrow

France coach Didier Deschamps stressed on Wednesday that he wants tomorrow’s UEFA Nations League group stage clash to remain a soccer match.

In a press conference ahead of the clash with the Zionist entity, which the French government considers high-risk, Deschamps said: “We are preparing for the game normally.

“The players know what awaits them, but they will adapt and focus on what they have to do on the pitch.”
French authorities have undertaken a massive security operation, including the mobilization of 4,000 police and gendarmes at the Stade de France and in the capital, Paris, including additional reinforcements on public transportation.

In addition, measures have been put in place inside the stadium, including an anti-intrusion system, with fencing to prevent fans from storming the pitch.

The number of police officers deployed at the stadium will be 1,600, which is significantly more than usual.
French President Emmanuel Macron announced that he will be present at the match, along with former presidents Francois Hollande and Nicolas Sarkozy, to show his full support for his country’s national team.
