Rhino: The US Special Envoy for Sudan, Tom Perriello, expressed deep concern that the Port Sudan government’s Humanitarian Aid Commission (HAC) continues to prevent emergency relief shipments from reaching various parts of Sudan.

He explained that between August and October, the Commission prevented 520 out of 550 relief trucks from leaving Port Sudan, depriving 6.4 million people in central and southern Sudan of essential food and medicine.
