Head of the Civil Democratic Alliance of Revolutionary Forces “Sumoud” Former Prime Minister Dr. Abdullah Hamdok
Rhino: Agencies – The head of the Civil Democratic Forces Alliance, Sumood Abdullah Hamdok, told Mashaweer newspaper that the Quartet’s statement was consistent with our vision of ending the war through a political solution, upholding the unity of Sudan, and removing the Muslim Brotherhood.
He added that the Muslim Brotherhood’s situation has become similar to that of Al-Qaeda and ISIS, and that the Sudanese people are united in their hatred of the Muslim Brotherhood regime in Sudan.
He pointed out that what appears on social media in Sudan does not represent the majority of the Sudanese people, and that many are languishing in Muslim Brotherhood prisons for calling for an end to the war. We call on the Quartet to declare the Islamic Movement and the National Congress Party in Sudan as terrorist groups.
