Rhino: Agencies – Al-Rakoba online newspaper quoted informed sources on Thursday, that the forces announced to be deployed in eastern Sudan under the name “Eastern Orta”, are nothing but forces belonging to the Eritrean army, and will enter the war for the Sudanese army under the cover of “Eastern Orta”, in an attempt by Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki, to provide military support to the Sudanese army.

According to the sources, Isaias Afwerki, with the help of leaders from the East, including Ibrahim Mahmoud, Ibrahim Dunya and Al-Amin Daoud, is seeking to control eastern Sudan as a strategic goal, trying to exploit the current situation in the country.

On Tuesday, a new militia announced the deployment of its forces in eastern Sudan, in coordination with the army, which has been fighting a fierce war with the “Rapid Support Forces” for more than a year and a half, in the first deployment of a militia in areas not yet reached by the war.

The political secretary of the Supreme Council of Beja Glasses and Independent Columns, “Sayed Ali Abu Amna,” warned of the consequences of introducing the forces of the eastern involvement in eastern Sudan and vowed to confront them, and Sayed Al-Wamna wrote on his Facebook page (by God, the Eritrean naturalized army will not be deployed in eastern Sudan except on our bodies) before he questioned the position of Nazer Turk, Abdullah Obshar and Shayba Dhirar, saying (where are your armies and the mobilized, will you keep quiet about the naturalized Eritrean army entering the east).

The militia said in a statement: “Your valiant forces, led by General Al-Amin Daoud Mahmoud, are deploying and opening towards the eastern region, after a process of technical and military consultations with the People’s Armed Forces,” according to AFP.
