Rhino: Agencies – The UN Security Council said on Wednesday it “strongly warns against any attempts to dismantle or reduce” the operations and mandate of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), after Israel passed a law banning the agency’s operations.

In an unanimously adopted statement, the council expressed its deep concern over the legislation passed by the Israeli Knesset on Monday.
