RSF: We shot down a foreign Antonov aircraft that was bombing civilians in North Darfur

North Darfur: Rhino – The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) announced that it shot down a foreign warplane at dawn on Monday in Al-Malha, North Darfur state, which was fighting alongside the army, killing all the foreign crew members.
The RSF confirmed in a statement on Monday that the plane carried out a number of sorties, during which it dropped “dozens of barrel bombs on the heads of innocent civilians in various Sudanese cities,” especially the Al-Malha area, “where it was shot down while dropping barrels on women and children.”
On Monday, the RSF published videos and photos of the wreckage of the plane after it was shot down, including scenes of the bodies of its crew, personal photos, passports and other documents revealing their identities and where they came from.
The statement reads: “Foreign warplanes fighting alongside the Burhan militia, the Islamic Movement Brigades and mercenary movements have been targeting cities and villages continuously, causing the death of thousands of innocent women and children, destroying infrastructure and citizens’ homes, even peaceful villages that do not witness the presence of any military forces. The brave men of our forces are determined to resolve this battle in the interest of our people and realize their legitimate aspirations for security, stability, peace, freedom and democracy, and to rebuild Sudan on new and just foundations”.
