Rhino: Agencies – Cities in the three states of Kordofan are witnessing an interruption in telecommunications and internet services for Zain and Sudani networks for the fifth day in a row, causing residents to be isolated from the rest of the world.
Citizens attributed the outage to a technical failure in the main cable that feeds the states of Blue Nile, White Nile and Kordofan.
“Darfur24” news website quoted citizens as saying that all services related to the telecommunications network and the Internet, especially bank transfers, have stopped, which has negatively affected their daily lives.
They pointed out that most families rely on money sent through banking applications, which need an internet network to transfer it, such as the economic and security conditions in the country.
