Rhino: Agencies – The Spanish Football Federation issued an official statement today, Sunday, about the injury of Barcelona star Lamine Yamal. Yamal suffered an injury while playing for Spain against Denmark on Saturday in the third round of the UEFA Nations League, where he left the field with a limp after being subjected to several fouls by the opponent’s players.
The Spanish federation said on its official website: “Lamine Yamal underwent an MRI scan this morning in Madrid to assess the pain he felt after the match against Denmark.
“The tests did not reveal any structural injury, and the medical services of the Spanish Football Federation confirmed that it was only a muscular strain.
“In the interest of the player’s health and to avoid any risk of injury, the decision has been taken to cancel his call-up for the upcoming match against Serbia next Tuesday.”
