RSF: Burhan and the Islamist brigades must bear the consequences of their escalation

Khartoum: Rhino – The advisor to the commander of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), Al-basha Tibaiq”, denied on Wednesday the statements made by “Minni Arko Minawi” about the victories of the armed movements allied with the army, in the areas of “Bir Mazza”, “Zuruq” and north of “Kutum” in North Darfur, describing it as “a white lie to cover up the great defeats suffered by the mercenary movements yesterday in Malha, West Darfur.”

Tibaiq held Minawi responsible for dragging “Kanabi” workers, and children into the war, “in exchange for money to defend his executioners in the army and the General Intelligence Service who belong to the Islamic Movement and terrorist groups supported by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.” He added in a tweet on his personal account on the “X” platform on Wednesday: “These failed attempts by the mercenary movements are a painful end for the movements in the desert of North Darfur and El Fasher, the RSF continues its war against terrorism in Sudan, until the sources of terrorism are eliminated once and for all.”

The advisor to the RSF commander said that Hemedti’s response to all calls for negotiations in the past period – despite its victories on the ground – was based on his sense of the suffering of the people and the danger of extending and prolonging the war, but the war group within the Islamic Movement and the National Congress wants to continue the war, and is mobilizing all its terrorist groups from the Baraa Brigades and other groups supported by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, and pushing mercenary movements to fight on their behalf for money, despite their repeated defeats.

Al-Burhan, the leaders of the Islamic Movement and the National Congress must bear the consequences of this escalation.
