Khartoum: Rhino – The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) denounced on Thursday what it described as the “manufacture of lies” by the media rooms of the army fighting alongside the Islamic Movement Brigades, and condemned attempts to label them with narratives that it described as fabricated and miserable, stressing that “they will not fool the conscious masses of the Sudanese people.”

The RSF added in a statement on Thursday: “We have seen through social media, poorly directed plots through ‘videos’, one of which shows a young man being threatened and another person pointing a gun at his head, asking his family to pay a ransom for his release, and another video prepared in the same way, and with obvious naivety, the promoters of the funny clip, including satellite channels loyal to the Islamic Movement, claim that the young man is being held by members of the RSF.

The statement continued: “The rooms of the ‘remnants’ and the mouthpieces of Al-Burhan’s militia have returned to the production of badly directed plays, which the Sudanese people experienced well during the era of the old regime, and their stupid attempts to mislead public opinion through a desperate scheme to stir up discord and hatred between the Sudanese peoples.

The statement continued: “Our forces are fighting a war against terrorists, and the systematic disinformation operations will not stop their march, and we realize the enemies’ motives for continuous incitement after they were unable to face our forces with honor on the battlefields, and our forces will proceed with determination and strength until this corrupt gang is uprooted from its roots, and peace and security are restored to our country.
