Rhino: Agencies – The official spokesman for the negotiating delegation of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), Mohammed al-Mukhtar, announced today, Sunday, the suspension of negotiations with the army and its allies.
“We announce the suspension of negotiations with the army and its allies, and our only option is military resolution,” Mukhtar said in press statements to Al Jazeera Mubasher TV on Sunday.
The statements of the RSF negotiating delegation’s spokesperson come after a major defeat for the army in Al-Jaili axis and limited progress in the capital Khartoum.
Observers who spoke to Rhino expected the pace of battles to increase in the coming months, especially in the capital, El Fasher, River Nile and Faw axis.
