Sudanese air force carries out airstrikes on Al Kuma, North Darfur

Al-Kuma: Rhino – The Kuma Resistance Committees condemned on Wednesday the bombing of the local area by the army, describing the incident as a continuous and selective behavior in targeting innocent citizens and their property.
The Kuma Resistance Committees held the Islamist movement’s militias and its “corrupt” army commanders responsible for the attacks against citizens of specific areas, saying that the attacks come with the aim of dividing Sudanese society on an ethnic and regional basis.
The committees added in a statement today: “The warplanes targeted the health center, the school where a large number of displaced people live, and a large number of citizens’ homes, killing 7 people, mostly women, and wounding 13 others. This heinous crime is an extension of the series of crimes of genocide and ethnic cleansing practiced by the Islamic Movement regime and its jihadist battalions against unarmed citizens in a systematic and deliberate manner.)
It added: “On Wednesday morning, the aircraft of the Islamic Movement army carried out a systematic and deliberate indiscriminate and brutal strike, which led to heavy human losses in lives and property.
The statement called on the international community and humanitarian organizations to condemn what it described as criminal behavior targeting unarmed civilians and their property, calling for a ban on the army’s warplanes, “for the sake of the lives of millions of Sudanese people.”
