Omar El Digair: The woman who shouted at the army commander represents millions of Sudanese

Khartoum: Rhino – Sudanese Congress Party (SCP) Chairman and Progress Coordination leader Omar al-Digair said on Friday that the woman who rushed towards the army commander, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, during his visit to one of the areas of Northern State yesterday, and addressed him with pride, sadness and hope, while complaining about the harshness of the situation and fatigue from the war, represents millions of Sudanese who covered the land of their country with crops of misery and suffering.
Al-Digair added in a tweet on his ‘X’ account on Friday, that the voice of that woman is a spontaneous and sincere cry for help, which should not be ignored, and is only worthy of arbitration of reason and conscience and a serious will to open the blocked horizons through a peaceful path of national negotiation to extinguish the fire of war and agree on a new social contract to establish a country that guarantees decent living conditions for all its people without discrimination.
A Sudanese woman in the Goz Hindi area of Marawi locality in the northern state chanted ‘no to war’ in front of Sudanese army commander Abdel Fattah al-Burhan during his visit to the area, demanding that he stop the war that broke out in mid-April last year
