TAQADDOM: Imposing a no-fly zone on army aircraft will contribute to the ceasefire in Sudan

Rhino: Agencies – A member of the leadership body of the Coordination of Democratic Forces ‘Taqaddam’ Dr Alaa Awad Nogod accused the Sudanese army commander and his followers from the former regime, the Brotherhood and armed movements of exploiting the suffering and blood of the Sudanese to profit from the war.
In a press interview with Eram News, Nogod said that Burhan’s pressure on the people to choose between war violations or accept their rule has turned into blackmail of the international and regional communities, through the pressures resulting from the displacement of refugees and the export of terrorism.
He pointed out that there are 21 military divisions in Sudan, of which only four are controlled by Al-Burhan, ‘and in the end he demands the RSF to surrender itself.’ He explained that the army’s boycott of the Geneva negotiations led to the recognition of the RSF by the group ‘Allies for Saving Lives and Achieving Peace in Sudan.’
Nogod stressed that imposing a no-fly zone on Burhan’s forces is a practical and quick solution that contributes to establishing a ceasefire, noting that the army commander’s endeavour to cooperate with Russia aims to obtain weapons, in order to improve the army’s deteriorating field situation.
