Khartoum: Rhino – British political activist and journalist Tommy Robinson commented on Turkey’s support for the Muslim Brotherhood in Sudan, saying: “If the Muslim Brotherhood regime in Turkey had not supported the jihadists in Sudan with missiles, the war would have ended in a crushing defeat for the Muslim Brotherhood.
Robinson added in a tweet on the “X” platform on Tuesday: ” The latest UN reports reveal that the use of foreign weapons in the Sudanese civil war has further complicated the conflict. These reports highlight in particular the presence of Turkish-made Bayraktar TB2 and Akıncı drones, as well as electronic warfare systems, in the possession of the Sudanese army, which has shifted the balance of power on the ground.”
He continued: “These findings raise questions not only about the course of the war in Sudan, but also about Turkey’s regional image and international responsibilities. Ankara is being criticized for supplying one side of the conflict with advanced weapons, while presenting itself as a champion of peace.”
