Rhino: Agencies – A military source revealed to “Darfur24” news site revealed today, Monday, the dismissal of Major General “Rabie Abdullah Adam”, the head of the advanced command in the operations in the Sennar axis.
The source added: “The dismissal came due to the lack of progress in the field.
The military operations in the Sennar axis had been assigned to Major General “Rabie Adam”, in an effort to retake the state of Gezira through three axes.
The military source said that Rabie was unable to make progress in the Gezira operations, before the RSF took control of the headquarters of the 17th Division in Sinja in June, and the rest of the state’s cities except Sennar.
Rabie regained his old position as commander of the Blue Nile region, while Major General Abdelmoneim Abdelbasit took over Sennar operations.
