UNITED NATIONS: Rhino – Secretary-General António Guterres on Friday appointed former Dutch Foreign Minister Sigrid Kaag as the world body’s new Middle East envoy, a UN spokesman said.

Kage will also continue her current role as the organization’s senior humanitarian and reconstruction coordinator in Gaza, said UN deputy spokesman Farhan Haq.
