Army warplanes resume bombing Kabkabiya, North Darfur, killing and wounding in the attack

Rhino: Agencies – 3 people were killed and 8 others were wounded on Thursday in a new aerial bombardment by the army warplanes on the city of Kabkabiya, west of El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur.

A medical source at Kabkabiya Rural Hospital told “Darfur24” that the hospital received 3 dead and 8 wounded, 5 of whom are in serious condition and need urgent surgical intervention.

An eyewitness from Kabkabiya town told “Darfur24” that a warplane launched violent airstrikes this morning with 5 missiles on the neighborhoods of “Al-Matari, Al-Amiriya and Central”, which resulted in the complete destruction of 6 houses.

He pointed out that panic and fear spread in the town amid the screams of women and children and fleeing from the large market and the cattle market, in addition to the suspension of some satellite Internet networks “Star Link” in large parts of the city.

He revealed that there was a large-scale displacement of the town’s residents towards the villages after the warplanes intensified their airstrikes during the last week of November.

On Monday, six people were killed and nine others were wounded in airstrikes on Ihya al-Imiriyah, west of al-Shati and Wadi Ara, east of Kabkabiya.

A previous airstrike on the al-Farouq School shelter for displaced people in the al-Shati neighborhood of Kabkabiya left a number of dead and wounded and destroyed the water source and water tanker attached to the town.
