Port Sudan citizen sentenced to five years in prison for collaborating with RSF

Port Sudan: Rhino – The Anti-Terrorism and Crimes Against the State Court in Port Sudan issued a five-year prison sentence against citizen ‘F.A.M. M, on charges of collaborating with the RSF, after he was convicted in case No. (1175/2024) under Article 51/A.

The indictment was represented before the court by members of the public prosecution ‘Abdullah Ahmed Babullah’ and ‘Mohamed Ahmed Al-Toum’.

Last week, the Darfur Lawyers Association revealed the existence of more than one hundred and fifty arrestees and detainees, during random searches and arrests in the cities of Port Sudan, Atbara, Shendi and Dongola, where arrestees and detainees are transferred after spending several months in detention to criminal prosecutions, to open against them the articles of crimes against the state, including lawyers who volunteer and provide legal aid, according to the association.
