Rhino: Agencies – A spokesperson for the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), Andrea Tenente, said that three UNIFIL peacekeepers were ‘slightly injured’ by an explosion near their clearly marked UN vehicle in the vicinity of Yarin in south Lebanon. All peacekeepers who were on patrol returned safely to their base, the spokesman said, adding: ‘We are investigating the incident. The spokesman did not provide further details on the nature of the explosion. Tenente said: ‘We strongly remind all parties and actors of their responsibility to avoid harm to peacekeepers and civilians.’
