Al Hilal crowned Saudi Arabian Super Cup champions with a ruthless rematch against Al Nasr

rhino: Agencies – Al Hilal turned a one-goal deficit into a 4-1 victory over Al Nasr in the Saudi Super Cup final on Saturday evening.
At the Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium in Abha, the first half almost ended goalless after a below average performance from both teams, but Ronaldo’s goal tipped the scales in Al Nasr’s Favour.
In the second half, the tide turned completely in Favour of Al Nasr and the goals came within 17 minutes of each other, as the world completely collapsed under the onslaught of the rival’s attack.
The first half saw no real danger from either side except for a header from Mitrovic that was well saved by goalkeeper Pinto.
In the 44th minute, Cristiano Ronaldo, Al Nasr’s captain and Portuguese star, put an end to his bad luck in front of Al Hilal’s net, scoring a goal from a cross by Sadio Mane, which he put into the net with a ground shot.

Al Hilal completely transformed in the second half and abandoned their defensive caution, and the wings came out in search of an equalizer.
In the 55th minute, Serbian Sergej Savic was able to break through the Al Nasr defence with ease and scored when Pinto was offside.
It took another 8 minutes for Al Hilal to capitalize on their offensive advantage, with another Serbian goal, this time with a typical Aleksandar Mitrovic header from a cross from the right, with a miscalculation by the Al Nasr goalkeeper and poor defending by his players.
Al Nasr did not wake up after Al Hilal’s two goals, and the leader increased the scoring yield and took advantage of his advantage to score the third in the 69th minute through Mitrovic, following a cross ball without any defensive control.

Three minutes later, Brazilian Malcom scored the fourth, taking advantage of an unfortunate mistake by his compatriot Pinto, who was penalized for the ball, to add to the world’s suffering.
With this victory, Al Hilal retained the first domestic treble they achieved last season, and the leader retained the Super Cup, which they won last season at the expense of Al Ittihad.
