Guardiola: City’s Oscar Pope will be out for three or four months

Rhino: Agencies – Manchester City will lose the services of one of their players for three to four months due to a leg injury, manager Pep Guardiola said on Friday.
The 21-year-old is Norwegian international winger Oscar Pope, who has been in fine form during pre-season.
Pope started last weekend in the Community Shield match, which his side won on penalties against bitter Neighbours Manchester United, but then picked up an injury during a training session.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference for Sunday’s clash with Chelsea, Guardiola said: ‘I think he (Bob) will have surgery this afternoon.
‘We expect him to be back as soon as possible, in three or four months, and we feel sad for him, but not because he did a great job in pre-season. That has nothing to do with it.’
