Rhino: Agencies – The United States has imposed sanctions targeting business networks affiliated with the Yemeni Houthi group and the Lebanese Hezbollah group, the US Treasury Department said on Thursday, as Washington seeks to increase pressure on Iran and its allied groups.

The sanctions targeted companies, individuals and vessels accused of involvement in shipping Iranian goods, including oil and liquefied petroleum gas, to Yemen and the UAE on behalf of a network affiliated with a Houthi financial official, the department said in a statement.
