“As the United States prepares for urgent ceasefire talks in Sudan next week, we are holding final meetings in Jeddah hosted by the Saudi government to end months of consultations with the parties to the conflict, regional partners and technical experts,” the US envoy added in a tweet on the X platform on Saturday.
“While this is happening, more importantly, tens of thousands of Sudanese are demanding an end to this war and famine.
