Rhino: The US State Department said that Secretary Antony Blinken told Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Galant in a phone call on Friday that escalating tensions in the Middle East are “not in anyone’s interest” and also stressed the need for a ceasefire in Gaza.
“The Secretary reiterated the United States’ unwavering commitment to Israel’s security and said that escalation is not in anyone’s interest,” the State Department said in a statement.
