Military Intelligence carries out a campaign of arrests against activists in Nuhood, West Kordofan

Rhino: Agencies – Sources revealed to Radio Dabanga today, Wednesday, a large-scale arrests operation in the city of Al-Nuhood, West Kordofan, against activists by the military intelligence affiliated with the army.

According to the sources, the arrests included activists, lawyers and unarmed residents of the city on charges of supporting the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

Radio Dabanga quoted the sources as saying that the last arrest in the city was five days ago and involved an activist named Khaled “Makrona”.

The city of Al-Nuhood in West Kordofan state is witnessing a severe crisis in drinking water and electricity, in addition to widespread arrests of activists.

Residents are struggling to access drinking water due to the lack of fuel for water sources following the suspension of fuel allocations to the locality due to the ongoing war, along with an unstable electricity supply, which has contributed to the disruption of many vital facilities such as hospitals and drinking water sources.
