Rhino: Agencies – France will face Spain in the men’s football gold medal match at the Olympic Games in France.

Hosts France will play the men’s football final at the Olympic Games for the first time in 40 years.

France qualified after coming from behind to beat Egypt 3-1 after extra time in their semi-final match on Monday.

Egypt had been leading through Mahmoud Saber’s goal for most of the match in Lyon, but Jean-Philippe Mateta equalized to send the game into extra time, where he put France in front before Michael Ullis rounded off the scoring.

Egypt reached the Olympic semi-finals for the third time in their history, beating Paraguay on penalties 5-4 in the quarterfinals.
