Khartoum: Rhino – The Democratic Assembly of Sudanese Journalists announced on Thursday its support and solidarity with the media campaign of the Journalists Syndicate, “out of loyalty to the people and commitment to journalistic conventions and highlighting the humanitarian tragedy of civilians trapped in war zones, starting on Saturday, 3 August.

The group said in a statement on Thursday: “We confirm our involvement in the Sudanese Journalists Syndicate’s campaign, as part of its rejection of the grinding war that has killed and displaced millions of Sudanese people and destroyed their infrastructure.

The group praised the Sudanese teachers’ campaign to stop the war, which they launched last Saturday.
