Royal Jordanian Airlines suspends two flights to Beirut on Monday and Tuesday

Rhino: Agencies – Royal Jordanian Airlines has suspended two scheduled flights to Beirut on Monday and Tuesday, Jordanian television reported on Monday, citing a Royal Jordanian statement.

‘Monday’s flight ‘RJ403’ and Tuesday’s flight ‘RJ407’ will be cancelled, in accordance with the decision of the Jordanian Civil Aviation Regulatory Authority to suspend all national companies ‘flights to Beirut airport for a short period of time,’ the TV quoted it as saying.

The statement added: ‘The assessment is ongoing with regard to the three flights.

Flights to and from Beirut airport were cancelled or postponed on Monday as tensions rose between Israel and Lebanon’s Hezbollah group after an air strike on the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights killed 12 children and teenagers.
