Sennar: Rhino – The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) announced on Tuesday that it has taken control of the 66th Brigade headquarters in the strategic ‘Abu Arif’ administration, in the far southwest of Sennar State, which is bordered on the south by Upper Nile State, in the neighboring country of South Sudan, and on the west by the city of Al-Jabalin, the capital of White Nile State.

The RSF, led by Lieutenant Colonel Hamouda al-Bishi, seized four combat vehicles, two soldiers’ trucks, and large quantities of ammunition and light and medium weapons.

The Abu Arif area is 40 km away from Al-Jabalin, the capital of White Nile State, which is under the control of the army.
