Rhino: Agencies – Manchester United are targeting a major Spanish deal this summer, according to a report in the English press, as they look to get back into contention for the Premier League title.

United have made two big signings so far, with Dutch striker Joshua Zerkzee and Lille defender Lenny Yoro.

According to the Telegraph, Manchester United is also targeting Spanish international Martin Zubimendi, Real Sociedad’s midfielder, who recently won the European Championship.

The newspaper indicated that the English club believes that signing Zubimendi would be a good option if it cannot sign Uruguayan Manuel Ugarte, who plays for Paris Saint-Germain.

Zubimendi has been a big target for Barcelona and Arsenal.
