Sinnar: Rhino – The advisor to the commander of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), Pasha Mohammed Tabiq, announced on Saturday that the RSF field commander in Sinnar state, Lieutenant Colonel Abdul Rahman al-Bishi, was killed in battles.

In a tweet on the ‘X’ platform on Saturday, Tabiq added: ‘Al-Bishi’s death will only make us stronger and more determined to continue the journey of liberation.’ (Al-Bishi’s death will only make us stronger and more determined to continue the journey of liberation).

For its part, the Sudanese army announced on Saturday that the deputy director of the General Intelligence Service and the commander of its operations body in Sinnar, Major General Mohammed Abbas al-Labib, was killed in the battles.

According to observers, al-Bishi’s death is expected to cast a shadow on the scene in terms of escalating military operations by the RSF in the Sinnar state axis, where clashes have increased since the RSF seized the city of Sinja, the capital of the state, earlier this July.
