Loris: Argentina’s song is an attack on the French people

Rhino: Agencies – Hugo Lloris, former French goalkeeper and captain, criticized the controversial song recently sung by Argentina’s players, after they beat Colombia (1-0) in the Copa America final.
In statements quoted by the BBC, Lloris said: ‘It doesn’t matter if it (the song) is in a moment of euphoria, after winning an important title, it requires more responsibility from you when you are victorious.
‘You don’t want to hear or see such things in football, everyone is against discrimination and racism. I hope it was a mistake, and we all make mistakes sometimes. But they have to learn from it.’
‘Argentina is the face of football at the moment, both in South America and the world. They deserve credit for what they have done on the pitch, over the last 4 or 5 years. But when you win, you have to set an example for others, especially children.’
‘What happened was an attack on the French people, especially those of African descent.’
After winning the Copa America, Argentina’s players chanted a song in which their fans attacked the French national team after they defeated them in the 2022 World Cup final on penalties.
The Tango dancers sang: ‘They play for France, but they all come from Angola. It’s good that they know how to run. They are transgender people like the bastard Mbappe, his mother is Nigerian (she is actually French of Algerian descent) and his father is Cameroonian, but in the passport: French.’
