Rhino: Agencies – The representative of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Sudan, Mandeep O’Brien, said on Thursday that “about 8.9 million Sudanese children suffer from acute food insecurity.”

She added that more than 7 million Sudanese have been internally displaced since the start of the war, including about 4 million children, and the official pointed out that the displacement of children is accompanied by multiple other crises as a result of the war.
