Rhino: Agencies – The Argentine national team, led by its coach “Lionel Scaloni”, crowned the title of the Copa America for the second time in a row after beating his counterpart Colombia 1-0, in the match held at the “Hard Rock” stadium in Miami, USA, after a marathon of a negative draw in the original time, forcing the two teams to resort to extra innings.

Argentina’s winning goal against Colombia came in the 112th minute through Lautaro Martinez, who increased his lead in the Copa America 2024 scorers’ standings with his fifth goal of the tournament.

Argentina succeeded in winning the Copa America title for the second consecutive time and the 16th time in its history, after winning the last 2021 edition, while Colombia’s trophy tally was frozen at a single title, which it won in the 2001 edition.

The Tango team succeeded in becoming the most successful team to win the title with 16 times, breaking the clash with Uruguay, which won the title 15 times previously.
