RSF condemns the army’s targeting of Saudi hospital in El Fasher, the Kingdom condemns the attack

El Fasher: Rhino – The Rapid Support Forces condemned on Sunday the targeting of the Saudi Hospital in El Fasher, North Darfur, by the Islamic Movement Army and its mercenary supporters, calling the attack “a continuation of the series of criminal acts that the Islamic Movement Army and its mercenary supporters have been practicing since the beginning of the war by targeting civilian objects and populated areas by aircraft and artillery shelling.”

In a statement on Sunday, the RSF called on regional and international organizations to condemn such barbaric acts that target hospitals, markets and citizens’ homes.

For its part, the Saudi Foreign Ministry expressed the Kingdom’s condemnation and denunciation of the targeting of the Saudi hospital in the Sudanese city of El Fasher, which resulted in the death and injury of a number of people “in violation of international law and international humanitarian law.”

The Foreign Ministry emphasized Saudi Arabia’s rejection of these violations, stressing the need to provide protection for health and humanitarian workers, and the importance of restraint, avoiding targeting civilians, and implementing the commitment to protect civilians in Sudan that was signed in the Jeddah Declaration.
