Rhino: Agencies – Arsenal are planning to pounce on one of Manchester United’s targets to strengthen their ranks in the coming period. According to press reports, Arsenal have joined the race to sign Norwegian Sverre Halseth Nyban, dubbed by some as the “new Odegaard”. The 18-year-old midfielder has attracted the attention of a number of European clubs with his performances for Rosenborg.

Manchester United are reportedly interested in Rosenborg’s gem, and Red Devils scouts have been following Sverre Halseth Nyban – who is managed by Erling Haaland’s (Manchester City striker) agent, Rafaela Pimenta.

However, the Telegraph reports that Arsenal are “interested” in the player, and the London club could sign him for around £10 million.

Sverre Halseth Nepan scored 8 goals and assisted 10 others in 33 appearances for Rosenborg in 2024. In total, the player has 15 goals and 11 assists in 60 appearances for the Norwegian giants.
