Khartoum: Rhino – Journalist Ahmed Amin reported that a Sudanese army force assassinated his son “Ghassan” after taking control of the Al-Shaabiya neighborhood in Khartoum Bahri.

The journalist said in a post on his Facebook account that the army assassinated his son Ghassan in the morning with a bullet to the head in the Al-Shaabiya neighborhood, south of Al-Assad Grocery, while he was returning on his bicycle to his home in Diyum Bahri.

He added that he was hastily buried without notifying his family despite carrying his passport and cell phone, indicating that he was contacted 24 hours after the incident by eyewitnesses, and the journalist explained that his son’s funeral will follow the identification of the perpetrator.
